| What started out as a family bike ride has become much more. Part cycling, part carnival, part celebration, Bike for Shelter is 100-percent family fun. Our rides include two-mile, 15-mile, 20-mile* and 50-mile* routes. They aren’t timed races, so you can ride at your own pace and enjoy. Kids can earn a medal and have fun in our bike rodeo safety course. We’ll also be holding sack races and giving away a new mountain bike. Marty Moose will be handing out balloons. There will be face painters, balloon animals, miniature horses, jumping gyms, rides on the MRL locomotive and tons more. Most importantly, while you’re having a good time, you’re also doing good. All proceeds will allow Watson Children’s Shelter to help area children in crisis. So grab your bike, helmet, family, friends and good spirits. And have a great time for a great cause. Helmets are required. Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
